Extremely Graphic Images of Boston Bombing Carnage

Some extremely graphic images of the carnage at the Boston Marathon bombing are being circulated online. Normally we would not participate in spreading gore imagery, but in this case, it seems to serve a practical purpose to show just how devastating this attack has been.

We share these disturbing images in honor of the first-responders who were there to cope with this horror, to the men and women who's duty it was to run toward the blast, rather than away. And of course, our condolences go out to all the victims and their families of those who were killed or maimed on this terrible day.
