Thoughts and Prayers Go Out to Small Texas Town Rocked by Devastating Blast

For those who have not already heard, there was an enormous explosion in a small town called West in central Texas. First-responders were initially called to fight a blaze that had broken out in a fertilizer plant at the edge of town, around 7 pm Texas time. About an hour later the flames spread to a chemical storage area which detonated with the ferocity of what some equated to a small nuclear bomb. More than a hundred people have been injured, numerous first-responders are unaccounted for, and anywhere from 15 to 50 people are feared dead.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of West today.
